What is DailyDotKids?
DailyDotKids is daycare management software for licensed childcare centres in Canada and the USA. Owners run the Admin app; teachers log the classroom; parents get updates. Production centre data is stored in Canada.
Who is it for — and who is it not for?
For: licensed facility-based daycares and childcare centres — owners, directors, teachers, and enrolled families.
Not for: parents searching for a daycare spot, unlicensed home care marketplaces, or centres that need a payment processor for tuition (we do not take parent payments).
How do I start on Free?
Download the Admin app, tap Start on Free, and create your centre — no credit card. Invite teachers and parents with codes from Admin.
What is included on Free vs Paid?
Free includes core classroom tools with capacity limits. Paid unlocks unlimited capacity and compliance tools (vault, billing, safety logbook, licensing visit export). Compare plans.
Does this help with a licensing officer visit?
Yes on Paid: prepare checklists, record past visits, and export attendance, staff hours, emergency contacts, and related summaries. We do not certify compliance — your licence and local law still apply. See licensing visits.
Where is our data stored?
Production centre records are stored in Google Cloud’s Canada region (Montréal). Details: Security and Privacy Policy.
Is our centre’s data private? Can we get an NDA?
Each centre’s data is limited to people you invite. We do not sell personal information. For a pilot or Paid plan we can send a mutual NDA and our Data Processing Addendum before you share sensitive details. Read Security, Privacy, and the public DPA — or request NDA / DPA on the contact form.
